We all pull together in The Curtain Shop!

We all enjoy advising customers and assisting them with curtains, soft furnishings and interior design – our objective is to provide an attentive and highly professional service across our areas of expertise.

The Curtain Shop has been established since 1980. Today, the two owners and four members of staff contribute over 90 years combined experience in the curtain and fabric industry, including specialist skills in making lampshades, and soft furnishings such as bed linen and cushions.

Qualified professionals

One of the owners has a degree in Engineering and the other a PhD in Chemistry. Industry-related qualifications include Merrick & Day and City & Guilds training, and a Diploma in Interior Design. So we understand the technical aspects of fabrics as well as how to select and use them for specific applications.

We have provided information and advice for the curtain maker's reference book – the Encyclopaedia of Curtains.

We regularly attend our suppliers' training courses to ensure that we continue to support our customers with expert knowledge of the latest products and techniques.
